Accommodation and public transport

Each hotel booking placed through this link (http://bonn-region.de/ADP2) includes a free public transportation ticket for the city and the region of Bonn (Verbund Rhein Sieg). The print-at-home PDF ticket is valid for the whole duration of the hotel stay of the delegate. The ticket will be sent automatically along with the hotel reservation confirmation.

Public transportation: Take Bus 610 from Bonn city centre (Hauptbahnhof) or Bad Godesberg city centre to a stop called Deutsche Welle. Walk down to Hermann Ehlers Strasse (toward the Rhine river) for about 2 minutes. The entrance of the 29-story building with a UN logo on top is located 50 meters down the road on the opposite side marked by two signs saying UNITED NATIONS or (in German) VEREINTE NATIONEN.

By taxi: The fare for a taxi ride to Langer Eugen (Hermann Ehlers Strasse 10) from Bonn city centre (Hauptbahnhof-Main station) is around 8 Euro. The central phone number for Bonn taxis is (0228) 555 555.

By plane: If you are landing at Cologne/Bonn Airport, you can either take Linie SB 60 from the airport to Bonn city centre. The fare is around 7 Euro and departures are every 30 minutes. Or you take the train to Bonn Central station.

You can also take a taxi from the airport. The fare is less than 50 Euro. If you are landing at Frankfurt Airport, there is a train from the airport to Bonn city centre departing every hour.
