Education for the World of Work
Concrete Innovative Experiences in Latin America
The Red Innovemos of UNESCO Santiago has recently published a report on education for the world of work, based on concrete innovative experiences in Latin America.
This publication is the first in the new “Innovemos” series, and presents a study of experiences in education for work. It is the result of a comparative study of innovative practices in the field of education for the world of work. It also presents a reflection on the relation of education and work and offers an overview of educational practices related to the world of work for the marginalised populations of Latin America, based on concrete experiences.
The Red Innovemos is UNESCO’s Education Innovations Network for Latin America and the Caribbean. Established in 2001, it is a forum and network of institutions focusing on innovative education, both formal and informal, for children, youths and adults.
