TVETipedia, UNESCO-UNEVOC's glossary on technical and vocational education and training, has reached a thousand definitions.
The project was launched in 2013 with the aim of improving communication among TVET experts and contributing to the conceptual clarification in the area of skills development and TVET. It gathers terms, definitions and annotated bibliographies from around a hundred international, regional and national sources (learn more about the creation of TVETipedia). Thanks to the contribution of our partners and e-forum members, the database has grown to reach 584 terms, 96 sources and 1000 definitions today. On this milestone, we would like to thank you all again for having kindly shared your resources and made TVETipedia possible.
The 1000th definition is about informal apprenticeship and comes right on time for our upcoming virtual conference on apprenticeships!
