14th Board of Management Meeting
The Board of Management Meeting was held at NAVTTC on January 13th 2016. The meeting was headed by the Executive Director Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema and Chaired by Mr.Waqar (Nestle Group) Pakistan and Co-Chaired by the Minister of State for Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training. During the meeting Private Sector Involvement was encouraged and 60 skill development projects were approved, along with several TVET Policy documents with the aim of enhancing capacity of TVET Sector to cater for 60% of working population (age 15-59) out of total population.
AVTTC is actively playing pro-active role in reforming the TVET Sector of Pakistan and is acting to achieve TVET Policy Objectives via TVET Vision 2025
Memorandum of Understanding signed
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between City & Guilds,Skills International & National Vocational & Technical Training Commission for close collaborations in TVET Sector of Pakistan.
