On 4 August, Mr Shyamal Majumdar, Head of UNESCO-UNEVOC, and his team welcomed a delegation from GIZ Yemen to the UNEVOC premises. The visit followed an earlier visit of the Ministry of Education in July 2014. After a brief welcome and introduction by Shyamal Majumdar, Ms. Lisa Freiburg, Associate Communications Officer and contact person for the Arab region, presented on the UNEVOC Network and the Centre’s online services, highlighting how GIZ Yemen could utilise these services and share the work they are doing with other TVET experts on the UNEVOC e-Forum. After the presentation, the discussions elaborated on establishing better linkages between GIZ Yemen and the UNEVOC Centre in Yemen.
