Delegation from the Chinese Academy of Engineering at UNESCO-UNEVOC

On 23 January 2015 UNESCO-UNEVOC welcomed a delegation from the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The delegation, headed by Vice President Prof. Xie Kechang, came to Bonn with the aim of learning more about UNESCO-UNEVOC’s work and exploring ways of collaborating, especially in the areas of innovation and creativity in TVET.

In his welcome remarks, Shyamal Majumdar, Head of UNESCO-UNEVOC, emphasized the strong presence of China in the UNEVOC Network and highlighted the importance of engaging academic institutions to strengthen UNESCO-UNEVOC’s online services. This was followed by a presentation on UNESCO-UNEVOC online services and a discussion on possible areas for future collaboration.
