Intern
Jose studied at the University of Costa Rica (mass communication – multimedia) and is currently enrolled in a Master’s program on International Media Studies, which is offered by the Deutsche Welle Academy in conjunction with the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg and the University of Bonn.
He lived in India during his IB studies at the UWC Mahindra College. This experience has helped him see how diversity is a great opportunity for fantastic projects to happen. He has worked in the production of short movies, documentaries, tv/radio programs & ads, music videoclips, multimedia, mass events and theatre.
Due to the growing access to Internet, the use of mobile devices, and the introduction of social media, new digital actors play different roles. His task in UNESCO-UNEVOC is to contribute in adding value to communication opportunities, and to help develop a strategy that includes among others the website and social media accounts.
