Maurice Shawndefar

Network Intern

Maurice began his internship at UNESCO-UNEVOC in May 2015. He has been assisting the UNEVOC Network team in facilitating communication within the network. In addition, he has been supporting the Network team with various tasks including updating information related to UNEVOC Centres, managing the process of launching and distributing the UNEVOC Network Manual, conducting desk research, coordinating a side-event at UNESCO’s 39th session of the World Heritage Committee, reorganising the archiving system of the network, and some administrative tasks.

Maurice is currently in pursuit of a Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
