La Red UNEVOC es una plataforma global específica para la Educación y Formación Técnica y Profesional (EFTP), cuyo fin es consolidar la cooperación Sur-Sur y Norte-Sur-Sur. La Red UNEVOC, coordinada por el Centro Internacional UNESCO-UNEVOC, se compone de los Centros UNEVOC individuales, que operan dentro de entidades existentes de EFTP y coordinan la oferta de cooperaciones internacionales y regionales en EFTP. La Red es un instrumento para la producción y difusión de investigaciones, estudios de caso, bancos de datos o publicaciones, y el Centro Internacional UNESCO-UNEVOC cumple con ella su función como intermediario.
La Red permite a los Centros UNEVOC individuales compartir conocimientos y experiencias sobre cualquier aspecto de la EFTP, intercambiar experiencias nacionales y debatir temas de relevancia común, en el marco de reuniones reales organizadas por ellos mismos o por el Centro Internacional UNESCO-UNEVOC, o en encuentros virtuales del Portal de la Red UNEVOC y el Foro Digital UNEVOC.
