Students from Hong Kong University

visit UNESCO-UNEVOC

On Thursday, 21 April 2011, a group of 15 students of the Hong Kong Institute of Education, a UNEVOC Network member, visited UNESCO-UNEVOC within the framework of their 10-day “Germany Environmental Education Study Tour”.

Ms Naing Yee Mar of UNESCO-UNEVOC held a presentation on the work of the Centre with reference to the integration of education for sustainable development (ESD) into TVET.

The students presented about their studies, the purpose of their study tour, and what they learned and experienced. Their presentations were followed by thematic discussions about the dimensions of sustainable development, ESD knowledge, ESD attitudes and values, and ESD skills, as well as by a tour of the UN premises “Langer Eugen”.
