Entrepreneurial education in TVET is an extremely important and relevant topic nowadays. The Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Education, through one of its 10 Targets, explicitly calls for the need to strengthen ‘Skills for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship’. Fostering youth employment and entrepreneurship is also one of the three priority areas of UNESCO’s current Strategy for TVET.
UNESCO-UNEVOC, in collaboration with UNESCO Headquarters, is launching a new project on entrepreneurial skills development in TVET and in consultation with the TVET community, UNESCO-UNEVOC hopes to build a picture of how TVET supports the development of entrepreneurial skills around the world. To this end, a quick survey aims to gather data on this topic.
