UNESCO-UNEVOC welcomes visitors

On 03 February 2016, Angelica Maria Kappel (Mayor of the City of Bonn), Alexander R. Petsch (Börding Messe GmbH) and Günther M. Szogs (Sectretary of the LEONARDO – European Corporate Learning Award) visited UNESCO-UNEVOC to discuss and learn about UNESCO-UNEVOC’s activities in the field of technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

The visitors were received by Shyamal Majumdar, head of UNESCO-UNEVOC. The meeting highlighted the important role the City of Bonn plays as host of the 18 United Nations (UN) organisations located in the UN Campus, and the city’s drive towards becoming the UN sustainability capital. The meeting also highlighted potential areas of future collaboration with organisations such as the Workplace Strategy Expo in Zurich, Switzerland and the LEONARDO European Corporate Learning Award, important players in finding innovative solutions for workplace learning.
