University of The Bahamas is a publicly-supported university providing excellent and accessible higher education to students across the nation and internationally. UB offers a broad range of undergraduate programmes and promotes life-long learning through personal, professional and development programmes. UB will offer graduate research programmes in areas where excellence can be achieved by virtue of the environment in which it exists. UB prepares students to participate fully in the social, cultural, political, economic and spiritual life of their communities and the wider world of which we are all citizens. UB embraces partnerships, both nationally and internationally, with other institutions and community groups that share our commitment to creating and sharing knowledge and education for a better world.

The University of The Bahamas will be the nation’s primary resource for research & innovation and community engagement. It will meet the educational aspirations of its students and nurture their creativity. It will promote the values of learning, leadership and service.
