To celebrate the first World Youth Skills Day, vocational students' skills were on display during a cultural and traditional art skills exhibition at Gldani Vocational Training Centre, organized by the UNEVOC Centre of Georgia with support of the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science.
The exhibition promoted the work developed by students from three TVET institutions and featured handcrafts, traditional and historic clothing from different regions of Georgia, wood artworks, felt accessories and traditional interior home design items produced in class.
The exhibition was attended by government officials from the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, representatives of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), international and local experts, professional orientation and counselling specialists, TVET students and potential applicants, TVET teachers and other stakeholders.
