UNESCO-UNEVOC’s Questionnaire on Innovation in TVET
Dear Colleague,

This questionnaire seeks to map current trends of innovation in TVET. In particular, the questions focus on innovation in TVET with regards to institutional culture, innovation strategies, relationship with the local skills eco-system, and innovative practices. The aim is to collect as many examples as possible and the results will be used to develop a study (publication in 2019) and will help guide future activities implemented by the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre.

The questionnaire is divided into three parts. Part I is concerned with general information about your institution. Part II poses questions about institutional strategies for innovation in your TVET institution. Finally, part III asks you to provide information on one specific innovative practice (please select the most relevant innovative practice developed by your TVET institution, preferably already being implemented).

However, before answering the questionnaire, what can be identified as an innovation in TVET?  Since the answer to this question can differ vastly, we would like to offer a starting point for our investigation: an innovative practice is a new or improved product, service or process that differs significantly from previous products, services or processes. This broad concept of innovation can encompass different types of innovation in TVET, such as new or improved types of TVET courses and programmes, new pedagogic and organizational practices, or even innovations in the relationship with external actors. In summary, innovation in TVET refers to every significant and relevant change in the way we practice TVET.

We are looking forward to learning more about your approach on innovation in TVET.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions on the questionnaire and its subsequent use.

Important:
Please note the questionnaire will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The application form has to be completed in one session and cannot be saved and resumed. Before you start, you may, however, have a look at the form using the "next" and "back" button.

Some sections require text answers and we recommend that you prepare these in advance.
