Development Tool for Vocational Training If you are looking for advice about to construct and assess learning outcome you may be interested in the following Development tool for vocational training that can be accessed at www.plymouthdevelopmenttool.eu and is free for public use. The tool is the product of an European Union funded mental health training project (Leonardo Life Long Learning fund) and the goal was to construct a practical development tool for training that can be used by small, medium and large organisations to provide high quality training products with demonstrable outcomes. The contents are based on the premise that budget holders, such as health and social care commissioners, local government and grant authorities, will increasingly require evidence that training is fit for purpose and evidence-based. It draws on concepts currently applied in public health and encourages organisations to engage stakeholders and beneficaries in prioritising need and demonstrating impact and value for money. The tool also provides access to high quality support materials to help plan, implement and evaluate vocational training programmes or courses, including the development and assessment of learning outcomes.
