Curriculum Development in TVETMeeting the Demands from Business and Industry
Twenty education policy-makers and practitioners from 10 countries in Southeast Asia (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) participated in the programme, which stressed the importance of integrating education for sustainable development (ESD) issues into TVET curricula. The training focused particularly on industry- and competency-based curricula that are responsive to the current labour market needs. Outcomes of the programme The participants of the training programme are now able to carry out the following tasks:
