UNESCO-UNEVOC is happy to welcome a new addition to the team. Jessica Davis, a visiting TVET expert from TAFE Directors Australia - a UNEVOC Coordinating Centre in the Asia and Pacific Region, will be with us for ten weeks.
Jess received an Australian Government Endeavour Executive Fellowship to support her to undertake a short-term professional development opportunity here in Bonn.
Jess is working on a range of tasks, but is specifically focusing on generating greater engagement with the UNEVOC Network from UNEVOC Centres in the Pacific Islands. She is doing this through targeted research and is currently developing a capacity development programme proposal.
Jess has met with representatives from the German Network members BIBB and GIZ and will next week travel to Paris to meet with some TVET representatives from UNESCO's headquarters.
We welcome Jess and hope that her stay is both enlightening and productive.
